Cornwall Air Ambulance was tasked to an incident at Perranporth Beach at 5.10pm on Thursday 25th August, as part of a multi-agency response.
Our critical care paramedics responded in the AW169 helicopter, alongside South Western Ambulance Service, the RNLI and the Maritime and Coastguard Agency.
Devon & Cornwall Police have confirmed that sadly a woman died at the scene.
Our thoughts go out to all those involved.
