Dales sponsor Cornwall Air Ambulance volunteer uniforms

Dales has become the first ever company to sponsor uniforms for more than 200 volunteers at Cornwall Air Ambulance.

The charity’s volunteers, known as Groundcrew, will sport new red uniforms emblazoned with the Dales logo when they are attending events, working in charity shops, or holding talks.

The family motor company wanted to support Cornwall Air Ambulance and its 250 volunteers as they help to spread the word about the charity’s lifesaving work in communities across the county.

Sara Cadge, Director of Dales, said: “Dales are proud to support this fantastic charity, which continues to make such a difference to the lives of people in Cornwall.”

Jackie Eastwood, Volunteer Manager at Cornwall Air Ambulance, said: “It’s great to have a company like Dales support us and give us funds towards Groundcrew uniforms.

“Our volunteers are the lifeblood of the charity, without whom we wouldn’t be able to provide the lifesaving helicopter service. They feel a real sense of pride when they wear their uniform and enjoy promoting the charity when they’re out in the community. I know they’ll all be very happy with their new clothing- so a big thank you to Dales from all the team.”
