This year the Great North Run will be celebrating it’s 40th year, starting in the centre of Newcastle and finishing at the coast of South Shields. You will run 13.1 miles through the city and over the grand Tyne Bridge whilst you are cheered by supporters along the way! You will enjoy musical bands along the way and some wonderful sea views!
The general ballot for the Great North Run is now closed but, we are delighted to be working with Run for Charity this year so that we can organise a charity place for you. Whether you know someone who has been airlifted or even been helped by our paramedics yourself – the air ambulance is getting busier than ever and we need you to keep running so that we can keep flying.
How We Can Support You
To apply for one of our charity places please email Sarah on sarah.walker@cornwallairambulancetrust.org including your email address, contact telephone and the reason you would like to run for us. You will be asked to commit to raising a minimum of £200 which includes your entry fee and a donation to the charity.
By choosing to run for Cornwall Air Ambulance our team would be delighted to support you with fundraising advice and inspiration, branded materials and training tips. We will provide you with updates every step of the way, keep you motivated and of course a Cornwall Air Ambulance running vest to wear with pride!
