A new, multi-roomed garden. The work on the gardens started from scratch 5 years ago. An orchard and Cornish shrubbery fill the entrance. The back garden has a well-stocked perennial border. The first walled garden built in Cornwall for many years contains raised vegetable beds, a fruit cage and greenhouse. Over the 2021 Covid lockdown, a 2-acre woodland of magnolias, beeches, chestnuts and cherries was planted. Some very rare trees are also in the planting. This woodland can be visited via a steep slope. Visitors will be able to see a garden in the making and revisit in future years to watch the woodland mature.
Cakes, cream teas and bacon baps will be available.
There is ample parking, some of the garden is wheelchair accessible but not the woodland or walled garden. Dogs on leads are welcome.
