Your friends and family will always come first when you are making a Will. That’s how it should be; we wouldn’t want it any other way.
After you’ve provided for your loved ones, though, please do consider leaving a gift to Cornwall Air Ambulance.
Cornwall Air Ambulance saves lives, but it doesn’t do this alone; it does so with the support of the people of Cornwall – it’s a team effort. One in every three Air Ambulance rescue missions is funded by people like you, who want to help save lives in Cornwall for future generations.
Any size of gift, large or small, will make a difference. It’s a wonderful way you can help very seriously sick and injured people who are facing a potentially life threatening situation, and who need the life saving skills and speed to give them the best possible chance.
Your gift will be the fuel that powers the helicopter on a lifesaving mission, the medical equipment that helps the paramedics deliver the best treatment, the kit that keeps the crew safe, and most importantly it will be the gift that keeps families together. We often hear from airlifted patients and their families who want to share with us the difference the crew made to them in their hour of need. You can read some of our patient’s stories here .
In recent years the number of gifts left to charities has increased. It would be wonderful if you would consider including a gift to Cornwall Air Ambulance when you decide it is time to make your Will, or next time you make changes to it.
Your Will is private and personal, and we would never ask you to tell us you’re leaving a gift to Cornwall Air Ambulance. However, if you are happy to share this news, the Air Crew would love to invite you and a friend on a special visit to meet them, so they can show you the helicopter they work on everyday, and explain how your gift will make a difference in the future.
Leaving a Gift to Cornwall Air Ambulance is a wonderful way to be remembered, a special way to make sure that, after you’re gone, you will help to save the lives of others.
Mr Yeomans explains why he is leaving a Gift to Cornwall Air Ambulance.
“I’ve supported Cornwall Air Ambulance since the start. You never know if you might need them, particularly for me as a farmer. Cornwall Air Ambulance is vital and we must keep it flying. That’s why I’m leaving them a Gift in my Will – to keep them flying after I’m gone.”
Hilary and Ted Jackson have kindly chosen to remember Cornwall Air Ambulance in their Will.
Hilary and Ted recently visited the Airbase to see the work of the Cornwall Air Ambulance up close. Afterwards they said, “We really enjoyed our visit to the airbase and were thrilled to see the helicopter and hear from the crew what a difference they make every single day. We would urge anyone who lives, works or visits this beautiful county to consider helping them to provide this marvellous service.”
