Cornwall Air Ambulance flies more than 700 missions every year throughout the county yet it receives no direct government funding for the cost of those lifesaving missions.
Every year we airlift around 60 children, and in the future we will rely on the children of today to fund the lifesaving flights of tomorrow. Therefore, we are committed to inspiring young people to become our future fundraisers.
Many schools, groups, churches and clubs support us in a variety of ways to keep the air ambulance flying.
Our fundraisers enjoy talking to groups about Cornwall Air Ambulance. We can visit your meeting place or you are welcome to book a visit to the airbase so that your members can see the helicopter first hand.
Talks are fun, informative and inspiring and, for younger groups, they are interactive with flying suits and helmets for the children to try on.
Charity of the Year
If your school or group chooses a charity of the year then please do consider Cornwall Air Ambulance.
You may like to fundraise towards a specific goal such as a piece of lifesaving equipment for our aircraft. The paramedic aircrew always have a wish-list on the go!
Hold an Event in Aid of Cornwall Air Ambulance
We have collection buckets, literature and inexpensive goodies to support your group or school when they hold events such as coffee mornings in aid of the charity.
Cornwall Air Ambulance would struggle to operate without the hard work, generosity and enthusiasm of our volunteers.
Could your members or pupils donate their time volunteering in one of our shops, at our offices, at an event or supermarket bag pack? It can be a great bonding activity and is always fun.
If your school or group would like to support Cornwall Air Ambulance, please speak to a member of the fundraising team by calling 01637 889 926 or email enquiries.
