FAQs
Q. When will I receive my ticket?
A. All e-tickets will be sent upon payment. This will include a barcode which will be scanned on entry. You can bring a printed copy of the email with you or if you don’t have a printer, have the email ready on your phone and we can scan the barcode directly from your device.
Q. How do I get directions to Helifest?
A. The Helifest site is located at Trevethen Farm along the A389 as you drive towards Padstow – in the field next to Padstow Main Car Park (PL28 8EX).
Q. Can I park at the event?
A. Parking is available at the site which is located at Padstow Main Car Park (PL28 8EX) – this is included as part of your ticket entry.
You will be required to present your ticket at the main gate.
Q. Is disabled parking available?
A. Yes, if you require disabled parking, you will be directed towards an area closer to the entrance.
Q. Will tickets be available on the day?
A. If there are any tickets still available, we will allow these to be purchased on the day, but we do expect this to be a sell out event so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
Keep an eye on our social media for updates on availability.
Q. Can I leave and re-enter the event later in the day?
A. Yes you will be able to do this. Please go to the ticket tent by the entrance/exit to receive a hand stamp so that you can re-enter.
Q. Is Helifest dog friendly?
A. Unfortunately for this event we will not be able to allow dogs on site (this is excluding service dogs). The car park doesn’t have any sheltered parking areas, so please ensure your dogs are left safely at home for the day.
Q. Can I bring my own food and drink to the event?
A. Bringing alcohol into the Helifest site is strictly prohibited. We have a fully licensed bar and cocktail bar serving alcohol as well as a variety of other food and drinks vendors serving refreshments throughout the day. To support our local vendors, we would appreciate you not bringing your own picnics and flasks but instead enjoy refreshments from the stands available.
Q. How can I prepare for the Cornish weather?
A. Helifest is taking place in an open field. We will have some stands and activities taking place in large marquees, but the event will predominantly be outdoors. With the typically unpredictable Cornish weather, we recommend bringing along some waterproofs as well as sun cream.
Q. Is there a schedule for the day?
A. There will be a schedule available for the day which includes a full and exciting music line up as well as meet and greet opportunities with Air Crew Andy and demonstrations from the crew. You will be supplied a programme on entry with timings, however, keep an eye on our social media event for regular updates and exciting news.
