Cornwall Air Ambulance is on the search for shop volunteers to join our ‘Groundcrew’ and help our lifesaving mission.
Our charity shops are a hive activity and perfect for socialising, whatever your age. Volunteers sort and price donated goods, steam clothes so they are ready to be sold, create window displays and serve customers.
With sites currently in Helston, Camborne, Newquay, Wadebridge, St Austell and Bodmin, there are opportunities right across Cornwall.
Whether you are able to give a few hours a week, or even a month, by giving your time you will be helping to keep your helicopter flying.
Jackie Eastwood, Volunteer Manager, said: “Our Groundcrew are an incredibly important part of the Cornwall Air Ambulance family, and quite simply we would not be able to carry out our lifesaving work without their support. Volunteering with us is great fun, you can learn new skills, meet people and make new friends. Helping in our shops is also a great chance to gain retail experience and broaden your skillset. We would love for you to join us.”
