How do I get there?
Great Western Railway runs trains to and throughout Cornwall. Redruth is just a short taxi journey to Scorrier Estate. Book your tickets today at gwr.com. By car, simply follow the directions on the map or use the address Scorrier, Redruth TR16 5AW in your satnav.
Once you get close, simply look for festival signs and head for the main entrance. If you’re on your phone, you can use Google Maps or Apple Maps for more accurate directions.
Arrival
Car parking is included in your ticket price. The onsite car park has one access in and out and so there will be marshals managing the flow of traffic, please drive slowly and adhere to their instructions. There will be a designated signposted route to access parking, both for disability and general.
Arena facilities
At Helifest we try to be accommodating where possible.
You will find wheelchair accessible toilets next to the standard toilet locations.
All members of the steward and security teams are briefed on all accessible points, facilities, and information about getting around the festival. We also have an information point.
Quiet spaces
Throughout the site you will be able to find quiet spaces away from larger crowds and big noises that may occur during your time at Helifest. There are no designated zones but the site has plenty of room to find a quiet patch of lawn. If you require more information please get in contact: enquiries@cornwallairambulancetrust.org
Ground conditions/ weather factors
Please be understanding before arriving that certain weather types can affect the ground and conditions.
Helifest is located on firm land with short grass and can have some uneven sections and slopes. The conditions of the ground can change quickly with adverse weather becoming muddy, waterlogged, dusty and may be difficult to navigate around.
If it becomes too difficult to move around while on site, please contact our of team stewards or security who are all briefed on how to help during your visit. They will be in branded red tops with lanyards or with a high-visibility tabard.
Please do not hesitate to contact us pre-event should you believe getting around Helifest may be a challenge. We will be more than happy to advise on how we can work around this.
All tickets are non-refundable. In the unlikely event that Helifest is cancelled due to weather then we will be in contact with you.
