The music line-up for the inaugural Cornwall Air Ambulance blue light festival has just been announced.
Helifest, a one-day festival in Padstow on Saturday 16 July, will feature various local musicians throughout the day.
Headlining the festival is Queen tribute act ‘The Good Old Fashioned Lover Boys’ who take to the stage at 6pm. There will also be performances from Samba Kernow, Roguey Roads, Change the Letter, In Tune Choir, The Stowes and more.
Tim Bunting, Chief Executive Officer at Cornwall Air Ambulance, said: “Helifest is a very exciting event for the charity, it’s our first ever blue light festival. We are looking forward to welcoming our supporters to enjoy fantastic live music and meet some of our emergency services. It’s a real family-friendly event, so I would encourage you to come along and have fun, whilst supporting your local lifesaving charity.”
Alongside the Cornwall Air Ambulance crew, visitors will get to meet other emergency services teams from across the county. Swamp Circus will be there providing circus skills workshops and Absolute Amusements will be attending with inflatable and rides for children.
