Adventure 001 pleasure flights continue to raise vital funds for Cornwall Air Ambulance

Following a successful summer season in St Ives, helicopter company Adventure 001 has once again shown its support to Cornwall Air Ambulance with a significant annual donation of £30,000.

The company has donated an incredible £186,192 since 2011, making it one of the lifesaving charity’s largest business supporters.

The crew of Cornwall Air Ambulance fly to over 800 missions a year, on average, with donations like this helping the charity to reach more people in their hour of need.

Stephanie Bray, Cornwall Air Ambulance Corporate Fundraising Officer, said: “Adventure 001 continues to raise substantial funds for the charity and this year’s generous donation goes a long way to helping to keep the air ambulance flying and saving lives in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.”

“We’re delighted to have them on-board and we thank them for their incredible long-term support.”

Neil McLaren, Managing Director of Adventure 001, said: “Our team are incredibly proud to be associated with such a wonderful life saving organisation. The event this year brought over 1,100 people to St Ives and we have huge support from local people and businesses in the area making it such a success.”
