Cornwall Air Ambulance’s charity shop in Camborne has again been vandalised, after the door was smashed over the weekend.
The windowpane has been left with an area of broken glass following the incident, which occurred sometime between Saturday night through to Monday morning.
The charity is reporting the incident to the police.
Last year, the Camborne shop was targeted twice by vandals, costing the charity thousands to replace the damage.
Joe Harriss, Head of Retail at Cornwall Air Ambulance, said:
“It is incredibly sad that one of our shops has been targeted like this, especially during such an important appeal year for us where every penny should be going towards our lifesaving service and helping to secure a second helicopter. Our six shops across Cornwall are a vital source of fundraising for the charity, with every preloved item bought helping the crew to attend those who are critically ill or injured. We are incredibly grateful to the team of staff and Groundcrew at Camborne, as well as the wonderful supporters and customers, who all to help to make the store such a great success.”
