The Cornwall Air Ambulance charity shop in Camborne has suffered another incident of vandalism.
A large pane of glass at the front of the store was broken on Monday evening. This is the second time this year that the Camborne shop has been targeted, after the door was damaged over the summer.
The damage will have a costly impact, and it is estimated that it could cost the charity around £3,000 to replace the glass.
Tim Bunting, Chief Executive at Cornwall Air Ambulance, said: “This is an abhorrent attack on one of our charity shops, which are a vital source of fundraising for the charity.
“Every penny raised from our retail shops goes towards helping to keep your helicopter flying and saving lives across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
“This is incredibly sad for the charity, and for our team of staff and Groundcrew in Camborne who dedicate their time and efforts to making the store such a great success.”
