An elderly man suffering from breathing problems on the Isles of Scilly sparked an emergency response from Cornwall Air Ambulance.

The pilot and paremedics flew to St Mary’s following a 999 call for help at 11.54am on Thursday 6 January. The sick man was treated by the charity’s air ambulance crew as he was flown to Royal Cornwall Hospital Treliske for further care.
