Would you like to play a part in helping to save lives? Could you spare some time to help your local lifesaving charity? Cornwall Air Ambulance is looking for volunteers to join our ‘Groundcrew’.
Whether volunteers give a few hours a week or even a month, every member of our Groundcrew helps to keep your AW169 helicopter flying to missions.
This new year we are looking for shop volunteers to join the team alongside volunteers to help with fundraising and events.
Jackie Eastwood, Volunteer Manager at Cornwall Air Ambulance, said: “Volunteering with Cornwall Air Ambulance not only helps to save lives, but it also gives you the opportunity to meet new people, learn new skills, enhance your CV, give something back to your community and have fun. It’s a great team to be part of and we have an amazing volunteer group across the county. Any amount of time you can give to help us will be greatly appreciated.”
What roles are we looking for?
Events and fundraising
We are looking for people to help us at events across Cornwall, which could be anything from a craft fair, to the Royal Cornwall Show, or our flagship blue light festival Helifest.
These volunteers will be responsible for chatting to people, engaging with the local community and helping to promote the charity.
Events take place throughout the year, all over the county.
