An exclusive black-tie 007 Heli Dinner, organised by charity Ambassador Dr Karen J Dickens, has raised an incredible £105,000 to help fund future Cornwall Air Ambulance missions.

The James Bond themed evening at Tregonce Barn in St Issey included a 007 course meal, an auction, raffle, as well as the chance for guests to fund First Response Trauma Kits, which are carried by the critical care team.

Guests were also treated to a video premiere of St Dennis Band performing ‘Cornwall My Home’ in front of your AW169 helicopter in the hangar at Cornwall Air Ambulance HQ.

Dr Karen Dickens said: “What a spectacular evening fit for 007 himself! Thank you to everyone who kindly donated prizes for the raffle, supported the evening and kindly help to fund First Response Trauma Kits and future missions. We were overwhelmed by the generosity of everyone who attended, and each donation will go towards funding the lifesaving work of your charity.”
