Dedicated fundraiser Marjorie Couch-Rose has pledged to hold an event every month throughout the rest of 2017 in aid of Cornwall Air Ambulance.
Marjorie, from Wadebridge, has already held a Valentine’s Day party at her home with friends and neighbours which raised £100 for the charity. She also has plans for an April Fool’s Day event, a mid-summer party and a Halloween celebration.
Majorie visited Cornwall Air Ambulance’s airbase to present a cheque for £100 to pilot Captain Craig Webster and fundraiser Becky Wise.
Becky said: “It always amazes me just how creative and innovative Cornwall Air Ambulance supporters are in coming up with ways to support the charity. I think Marjorie’s idea to hold a fundraising event each month is absolutely fantastic and we’re very grateful to her for all her efforts. Without the support of people like Marjorie, we would not be able to keep the air ambulance flying and saving lives.”
