Cornwall Air Ambulance is on of Liskeard YFC’s chosen charities this year, thanks to their Chairman Will. So far they have organised a tractor run, a big breakfast and a shear-athon, and are fundraising until October! Thank you all for your hard work, we can’t wait to see what else you get up to!

Looe Pioneers
The Looe Pioneers have absolutely smashed another year of fundraising with their Looe 10 Miler event.
They have also reached the massive milestone of £30,000 raised for Cornwall Air Ambulance – thank you!

Mayor of St Austell
The Cornwall Air Ambulance team were delighted that Mayor Julian Young chose to support them during his term as Mayor of St Austell. Karen, Head of Fundraising, attended the Mayor Making to mark the end of his term, and the team also attended his fabulous community fun day last summer. Thank you Julian!

Bude & North Cornwall Golf Club – Ladies
A massive thank you to Jo, the 2024-25 Ladies Captain and all her ladies team for their amazing fundraising effort!
Jo took on a skydive, alongside running lots of events throughout the year, and absolutely smashed her fundraising target to fund over the equivalent of a mission by air.

Lanhydrock Hotel and Golf Club Captains
Lanhydrock Golf Club’s 2024-5 Captains have been hard at work all year with events and other fundraising activities!
They were also supported by the Golf Club itself who donated funds from their Christmas Carvery towards their fabulous total. Thank you!

Danii Thomas
Having needed the services of Cornwall Air Ambulance herself in 2007, Danii wanted to show her thanks and fundraise for the charity. Taking the leap, Danii challenged herself to a skydive and loved every minute! She even spotted the AW169 helicopter on the helipad from the air! Well done and thank you Danii!

Cornish Pirates
An enormous thank you to the Cornish Pirates for their support this season, raising over £11,000 for Cornwall Air Ambulance. We have enjoyed being part of the team and wish them well for their final match of the season!

Kernow Motors
Donating money from car sales and a car wash weekend, the Kernow Motors team pulled together to run a fortnight of fundraising for Cornwall Air Ambulance. Thank you so much to everyone involved!

Suez Recycling and Recovery UK
We were pleased to welcome Suez Recycling to the airbase and thank them for their generous donation following the various events they held over Christmas, which included hot meals prepared by the team. We are so proud to be supported by amazing local businesses like Suez. Thank you.

Kings Arms
Organised by Groundcrew volunteer Karen Butfield, over 65 happy customers enjoyed a delicious full English breakfast. A huge thanks to the whole team at Kings Arms, Tregony who donated their time to cook and help serve on the day. Karen had organised a wonderful raffle and you could even enter the silent auction for a signed Pirates Rugby Club ball. An incredible event with a huge community spirit. Thank you all.

St Mawes Ferry – Fal River
We were so grateful to have been chosen by St Mawes Ferry, Fal River, who forfeited their crossing fares for the day in exchange for donations to Cornwall Air Ambulance. The sun shone and a welcome flat sea was enjoyed (although no sign of dolphins on the day!) A huge thank you to Skipper Sam, First Mate Tanya and to all your very generous passengers.

Lewinnick Lodge
Thank you to Lewinnick Lodge and the Plume of Feathers, along with all their wonderful customers, who raised an incredible £1,500 from their Christmas raffles. The sea view we enjoyed whilst taking this photo was quite spectacular on such a blustery day. Thank you for your continued support.

All the spills and thrills were enjoyed at the 1st Plastic Grand Prix held at Cubert Village Hall. The vision and attention to detail from Groundcrew volunteer Francis was fantastic and 16 entries raced to the finish line. From the Roll-On racer to the Bleach Buggy, the race was high-energy all the way! Thank you so much Francis and to all involved.

Sarah Wickins
Completing 3 marathons in 3 days along Cornwall’s coastline, Sarah and her daughter Lizzie dared to take on the Atlantic Coast Challenge! What an incredible effort by them both with Lizzie going on to be the fastest youngest challenger. Well done ladies!
