Side by Side Singers
The lovely Side by Side Singers held a concert and cream tea event in February and donated £400 of their £800 total to Cornwall Air Ambulance.
The village hall was full! Scones, jam and cream, and saffron buns were served afterwards by the singers. Thank you to all the singers and their fabulous audience for your support!

Landrake Young Farmers Club
Landrake YFC have been busy fundraising for Cornwall Air Ambulance throughout last year, both with amazing events and with a wonderful cookbook created by their members!

Millie Chilly Swimmers
We have been so delighted that the Millie Chilly Swimmers have really thrown themselves into their fundraising for our #HELi2 Appeal! They started 2024 ‘Braving the Blue’ with a months’ worth of cold water dipping in February 2024 and have since supported our events and produced a lovely charity calendar.
They finished the year on £2710.66 which is such a fantastic total and will truly make a difference to help bring a second lifesaving AW169 to Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Thank you!

Falmouth Young Farmers Club
Thank you to Falmouth Young Farmers Club for their amazing fundraising effort in 2024!
They have very kindly chosen to support Cornwall Air Ambulance again this year and are holding a charity auction in March. It was so lovely to welcome them to our HQ in February to hear more about what they have planned!

Suez Recycling and Recovery UK
We were pleased to welcome Suez Recycling to the airbase and thank them for their generous donation following the various events they held over Christmas, which included hot meals prepared by the team. We are so proud to be supported by amazing local businesses like Suez. Thank you.

Kings Arms
Organised by Groundcrew volunteer Karen Butfield, over 65 happy customers enjoyed a delicious full English breakfast. A huge thanks to the whole team at Kings Arms, Tregony who donated their time to cook and help serve on the day. Karen had organised a wonderful raffle and you could even enter the silent auction for a signed Pirates Rugby Club ball. An incredible event with a huge community spirit. Thank you all.

Francis Phillips
All the spills and thrills were enjoyed at the 1st Plastic Grand Prix held at Cubert Village Hall. The vision and attention to detail from Groundcrew volunteer Francis was fantastic and 16 entries raced to the finish line. From the Roll-On racer to the Bleach Buggy, the race was high-energy all the way! Thank you so much Francis and to all involved.

Helston RFC Minis and Juniors
In February, the minis and juniors at Helston Rugby Club were joined by Nicki and Carol from Cornwall Air Ambulance to celebrate their amazing fundraising effort. They have been working hard collecting and donating raffle prizes and have raised £250! Well done!

St Mawes Ferry – Fal River
We were so grateful to have been chosen by St Mawes Ferry, Fal River, who forfeited their crossing fares for the day in exchange for donations to Cornwall Air Ambulance. The sun shone and a welcome flat sea was enjoyed (although no sign of dolphins on the day!) A huge thank you to Skipper Sam, First Mate Tanya and to all your very generous passengers.

Lewinnick Lodge
Thank you to Lewinnick Lodge and the Plume of Feathers, along with all their wonderful customers, who raised an incredible £1,500 from their Christmas raffles. The sea view we enjoyed whilst taking this photo was quite spectacular on such a blustery day. Thank you for your continued support.

After the crew attended St Minver Holiday Park, the team and residents wanted to show their support and hosted a fun day for their August guests. The biggest of raffles, a DJ, plenty of stalls and cake all made for a very successful and fun day. Thank you for your ongoing support.

Completing 3 marathons in 3 days along Cornwall’s coastline, Sarah and her daughter Lizzie dared to take on the Atlantic Coast Challenge! What an incredible effort by them both with Lizzie going on to be the fastest youngest challenger. Well done ladies!

Theresa Ferguson
6 days, 36-48km, camping under the stars, experiencing ascending some of Africa’s highest sand dunes – the Sahara Desert Trek is quite a challenge. Congratulations Theresa on taking on this mighty trek in aid of Cornwall Air Ambulance.

69km in 11 days ascending Africa’s highest mountain, James and Gemma took on this mighty challenge and we are in complete awe back at HQ. Congratulations and huge thanks for flying the Cornwall Air Ambulance flag, and for your incredible commitment.
