Cornwall Air Ambulance was tasked to Padstow on Sunday (29 May) to help an injured fisherman. The charity’s critical care paramedics were part of a multi-agency response to an incident in Padstow Harbour at 6.50pm.
Cornwall Air Ambulance is one of several air ambulance charities across the UK to be supported by a grant from the Lions Club International Foundation.
More than 1,000 names have now been added to the underside of the new Cornwall Air Ambulance helicopter.
Cornwall Air Ambulance was tasked to 1,144 missions in 2019. New data released by the charity shows that missions increased by more than 3% compared to 2018 and are up more than 30% from 2017.
With winter fast approaching, the crew are preparing to fly once again in the hours of darkness.
