Have a brew for the crew on National Cream Tea Day 28th June
By holding a Cream Tea Day you’ll be helping to save lives, just like Harry’s…
A trip to Trevone Beach tuned into a nightmare for Harry and his family last year. Five-year-old Harry was excitedly heading towards the beach when he suddenly fell off the cliff, 6 metres onto rocks below, suffering a serious head injury. Cornwall Air Ambulance were on the scene in just 15 minutes, airlifting Harry to Treliske and then on to Bristol for specialist treatment. After 8 days in a coma, Harry had a titanium plate inserted to reconstruct his skull. One year on and Harry has made a full recovery and is now helping to raise money for the charity. Mum, Becky said "We were very lucky, it could have been a different story. Harry is doing very well now and a lot of that is down to the responsiveness of the Cornwall Air Ambulance."
