Logan’s Story

Last October 15 month year old Logan Olive-Wragg was eating breakfast with his mother and grandmother in St Kew when he suddenly became drowsy and floppy and then he stopped breathing.

Both mother and grandmother are doctors so they knew to lean him forward to keep an airway open as they called 999.

Cornwall Air Ambulance was tasked to the emergency and the paramedic aircrew were with Logan in just eight minutes.

Logan’s mother Amy says, “We were so relieved to hear that the air ambulance was on its way. Everyone was amazing and they got us to Royal Cornwall Hospital at Truro quickly where Logan was seen in resuscitation and by paediatrics. He was started on IV medications and luckily made a quick recovery. He loves his air ambulance teddy bear and we really appreciate the amazing work the air ambulance do. We are so grateful for everyone’s help and how brilliant they were with my baby!”
