With over 20 years’ experience in a number of senior marketing and communications roles, Jon joined the charity in May 2022. Jon worked most recently as Head of Marketing and Communications at North Devon Hospice having relocated with his family from the South East where he had previously headed up a large communications team for the NHS, overseeing the marketing and communication operations at Watford, St Albans and Hemel Hempstead hospitals. Jon also has a strong fundraising background and enjoys his role of working closely with the air ambulance team who need to raise over £7 million each year.

Jon was attracted to the role at Cornwall Air Ambulance having seen the aircrew in action when landing on the roadside in Bude next to his car – but was also drawn to the charity’s strong visual identity. When away from the desk, Jon enjoys music and participating in many sports – and makes the most of beach trips and living by the coast with his family.

She has a passion to see lives saved, and as she puts it: “I may not be able to fly a helicopter but I can develop a brand image and assets that help deliver the charity’s key messages and win those much needed donations to keep the heli in the sky”.

She has lived in Newquay for 14 years and wouldn’t be anywhere else; surfing, snowboarding, skating and exploring the world are just a few keen interests she has, and now with her latest edition to the family ‘Naia’ her little chocolate spoodle.
