After a globe-trotting career in IT, I love the opportunity Cornwall Air Ambulance gives me to make a real difference to my local community. The need for the Cornwall Air Ambulance grows constantly and our second helicopter is desperately needed. If I can play a small, but significant, role in funding the charity on an ongoing basis, I will be very proud. My role requires me to meet many of the great people who live in Cornwall; this makes me very happy. I enjoy all their conversations and, especially, the stories they have to tell. In my spare time I can be found in the sea, on the beach, riding my bike, or being a dutiful house elf.

I’m so proud to put on the Cornwall Air Ambulance uniform and raise funds for such a vital local charity. I love walking and meeting people and this role enables me to combine them both. The role helps me discover lovely new parts of Cornwall for my paddle boarding.

I joined the Cornwall Air Ambulance back in 2011 as a face to face fundraiser and enjoyed many years signing up new members, previous to this I had my own financial advice company for 10 yrs after serving 16 years with the Prudential prior to this I was a Trawlerman working from Looe.
In 1979 I married the skipper’s daughter and the rest is history still with my wife Jan today.

Born and raised in Cornwall, I started my career in the Beauty and Leisure industry. More recently my work took me all over the south west. The opportunity came for me to work in my home county with our amazing Cornwall Air Ambulance. I’m so grateful to have this position as it’s such a fulfilling role knowing the funds we help raise play a role in this life saving service. When I’m not at work I can be found enjoying the outdoors with my husband and son.
