Thirty-one years ago, Cornwall proudly led the way with the launch of the UK’s first ever air ambulance service.
Three decades on and over 27,000 life-saving missions later, we are asking for your help to write the next chapter in this charity’s and Cornwall’s proud history.
Here are some of the incredible people the charity has helped over the years.
Baby John was just three days old when he suffered a heart attack and collapsed at his home in Mullion.
“My family is living proof how vital a service Cornwall Air Ambulance is. By making the New Heli Appeal a success, we can help give families like mine the best chance of staying together.”
Jemma Cattran, John’s mother
“His little head was hit so hard it fractured down his forehead. It was terrifying, you never expect something like that to happen to you. I’m so grateful to the crew for helping him that day. I can’t thank them enough.”
Kelly Carter, Talan’s mother
Talan Carter-Shnepp was in a severe car crash and suffered a large skull fracture. He needed 26 stitches and was in a coma for two days.
Please join the mission to bring a next generation helicopter to Cornwall and help keep families together
