From the skilled paramedics and pilots both in the air and driving our Rapid Response Vehicles, to the passionate volunteers in our charity shops, from the meticulous admin team to the dynamic events coordinators, our team embodies the spirit of compassion, unity and excellence. Together, we form the foundation of Cornwall Air Ambulance, working tirelessly to ensure that our critical care reaches those who need it most.
The Crew & Operations
The heroes on the frontline. The crew is made up of Critical Care Paramedics, Doctors and Pilots who are the forefront of their clinical and aviation fields. With huge experience and skill, this team attends over 1000 incidents every year and helps to save lives on a daily basis.
Fundraising
A passionate and dedicated team, we need them all to process the donations you send in! This hard-working group looks after community and event fundraising, corporate fundraising, legacy and major donor fundraising.
Retail
The charity has seven shops dotted around Cornwall that form a crucial part of fundraising and engaging with our local communities. The dedicated charity staff team manage the shops and the volunteers who kindly work in them. Keep an eye out, there are always some fantastic bargains and shop events near you!
Communications & Marketing
This team is responsible for everything you see that is communicated from the charity, from social media to bus stops. They also meet ex-patients, plan advertising campaigns to help generate donations and support all areas of the charity. There’s never a dull day in this office!
Support Services
The engine room of the charity, there would be no flying without those that work behind the scenes to keep everything going. From Finance to HR and Maintenance, these are some of the unsung heroes that make it all possible.
Philanthropy Forum
This group of dedicated volunteers are advocates and champions for the charity, with expertise in and a passion for delivering high quality supporter engagement resulting in major gifts to the charity.
President & Vice President
These roles are voluntary and appointed by the charity leadership. Our President and Vice-President are involved in promoting the work that the charity do and take an active part in charity life.
Leadership & Governance
Responsible for governing the charity at a strategic level, the Board of Trustees consist of volunteers from a variety of professional fields, with vast experience and expertise. The Chief Executive is at the forefront of charity leadership.
Lottery Fundraisers
A passionate and dedicated team, helping you to sign up to our Cornwall Air Ambulance lottery. This hard-working group will be seen at your door, local event or supermarket. Come and say hi!
